Chairman/CEO

Anastasia  Mann
Chairman/CEO, Corniche Travel Group

Well known as a leader in travel and tourism management and marketing, Anastasia Mann is the founder, Chairman and CEO of renowned West Hollywood, California-based Corniche Group, Inc. Corniche is well recognized for providing exclusive corporate and leisure travel management, tourism and hotel marketing consultation, and meeting and event planning, as well as entertainment personal management services. Over the years, she has worked with a wide range of high-profile clients and celebrated personalities in entertainment and politics. Her company has worked with the Los Angeles Dodgers for over 19 years and currently represents many prestigious and diversified corporate clients and organizations including Pepperdine University, LA Center Studios, the Los Angeles Angels Baseball Club of Anaheim, The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Major League Baseball, ICM Artists, Virgin Entertainment, Herbalife and Children’s Hospital, to name a few.

In December 2004, Anastasia and Corniche Group successfully launched a new division called Anastasia’s Africa, specializing in private, customized safaris to southern and eastern Africa with Africa’s premier safari lodges, camps, operators and guides. With amazing and immediate success, Anastasia’s Africa now has offices in Los Angeles, Cape Town, Arusha and Nairobi and has been featured in In Style, Marie Claire, the Los Angeles Times, etc.

In 2007 Corniche Entertainment was born which provides music and entertainment for top venues and private events throughout the world.  Renowned Latin Jazz Master Percussionist, singer, artist and orchestra leader, Louie Cruz Beltran is the marquee artist for the division.

Following a childhood acting career, which spanned more than 70 films, Anastasia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California. She started her tourism career in hotel sales and marketing originally as the first female corporate sales manager for Hilton Hotels Corporation based in Los Angeles, followed by the Stanford Court in San Francisco, and then spent over nine years as Director of Sales & Marketing for the prestigious Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Anastasia moved from hotel marketing to become the first US President of Operations for British-based Mark Allan Travel - which is now the entertainment division of American Express.

As a founding member of the California Travel & Tourism Commission, she served two terms as the sole representative for all travel management agencies in the state. During both her terms she sat on the Executive Committee.  Anastasia is currently serving her second term on the board of CalTIA (California Travel Industry Assn). 

Her additional contributions to the travel and tourism industry include 10 years on the international board of directors of the Travel & Tourism Research Association (serving as President and Chair as well); past-president of Southern California chapter of HSMAI; founding member of MPI; board member of PATA Los Angeles; member of International PATA’s first Marketing Committee; founding chairman of the West Hollywood Visitor’s and Convention Bureau (currently chairing its Board of Governors); long-standing member of the West Hollywood, Hollywood & California Chambers of Commerce; California representative to the White House Conference on Tourism (Clinton Administration); sole tourism representative on the Trade Mission to Soviet Union (GHW Bush administration); Hollywood Arts Council governor;  President of SKAL International - Los Angeles, to name a few. She is also a member of Travel Industry of America (TIA) and sits on the Council for the Woodrow Wilson International Center in Washington, DC.

Among her various honors, she is the namesake as well as first recipient of the Anastasia K Mann Leadership Award presented annually by the Travel and Tourism Marketing Association (established in 2002). In October 2005 the highly respected magazine, Luxury Travel Advisor, featured Anastasia and Corniche Group as the cover story and also gave in depth coverage to the Anastasia’s Africa project in a separate story on African safaris. She was also named the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of California by the California Travel Industry. Also in 2006 Anastasia was honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as a Woman of Distinction and by the Westside/Century City Chamber as a Woman of Achievement.

Anastasia is also active in her local community government affairs. She is currently in her second term as the President of the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council representing over 45,000 individual stakeholders (residential and business) including the Hollywood Bowl; Universal Studios and the Hollywood-Highland/Kodak Theatre complex. She has frequent interaction with the LA City Council and LA County Board of Supervisors on behalf of her constituents and community events.  She was recently selected to serve a three-year term as a Hearing Examiner for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Board of Rights.

In addition to publishing her own corporate travel magazine, The Corniche Club, Anastasia wrote a regular column called "Star Tracking" for Orbitz for four years. In "Star Tracking," Anastasia covered the travel habits of celebrities as they trek around the globe and featured many fascinating destinations domestically and abroad. The stories proved inspirational to many travelers planning A-list-level vacations.  Her regular audience included millions of Americans as well as international readers.

Her personal travels throughout the world include 107 countries thus far. Among her favorite destinations are the countries of southern and eastern Africa and, of course, Italy! Her speaking engagements over the years have included major travel industry conferences throughout the USA as well as internationally. In February of 2003 she was a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Peace through Tourism in Geneva, Switzerland and again presented a keynote address to the IIPT Africa conference in Lusaka, Zambia in February 2005.

Anastasia is frequently called upon by the media to comment on the status of the travel industry on television, radio and in print. She has done over 600 interviews on network television and major market radio stations, and is a frequent contributor to the New York Post, LA Times, In Style Magazine; EXTRA, Fine Living, etc.

Randall Brown

Randy Brown is a veteran travel industry professional with over 20 years of travel management, sales and operations experience. A Midwesterner who left the University of St. Louis to begin his travel industry career at Trips Unlimited and then Maritz Travel Service he moved to California and spent 9 years with Sundance Travel serving as Director of Operations overseeing 35 offices in California including San Diego, Orange County, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He left Sundance in 1993 to open Platinum Travel in Los Angeles serving as President developing corporate and leisure travel until its sale in 1995. Thereafter he joined Corniche Travel Group, based in West Hollywood, becoming President in 1996.

Under Randy's leadership Corniche is one of California's premier remaining independent travel management companies serving a balanced client base of entertainment, sports, higher education & medical corporate accounts and a who's who of individual & group leisure travel. Corniche has been proactive in creating new ways to work with travel suppliers to improve the selling experience and garner customer loyalty. In addition to travel management Corniche offers additional travel industry related services such as hotel and venue marketing, meeting and event planning and an extensive on-line booking program for hotels and national parks.

Randy has served on numerous industry advisory boards including Leading Hotels of the World, Marcus Hotels and Resorts, Luxe Hospitality Group, Woodside Travel Trust, Continental Airlines, TWA and many more. He represents Corniche to The Leisure Travel Group where he served on the automation committee, which was instrumental in negotiating a record breaking CRS contract on behalf of 165 member travel management companies.

Micki Stark

Micki Stark began her airline career over 23 years ago in the Sales Department of Philippine Airlines. In 1986, Micki joined Hawaiian Airlines, handling inside sales, including negotiating group contracts, attending trade shows and organizing various events.

In 1990, Micki was an integral part of the Sales team setting up the Sales Offices of Virgin Atlantic Airways for their entry into the Los Angeles market. Upon Virgin Atlantic inaugurating their San Francisco service, she facilitated the opening of this sales office as well. Over the last 15 years, Micki was responsible for maintaining all records for more than 50 contracted corporate and agency accounts, representing over $20 million in revenue, analyzing flown revenue figures and provided monthly reports to Executive VP, VP Sales, NA and Regional Sales Manager. This background led to being appointed Corporate Sales Manager for Virgin Atlantic, specializing in high-volume corporate and entertainment accounts. Additionally, she handled leisure accounts as well as wholesalers, consolidators and ethnic accounts. Her belief in "relationship-building sales" resulted in continually exceeding her targets and building loyal clients for Virgin Atlantic.

Having worked with Corniche as one of her major accounts, Micki joined the team at Corniche Group, Inc., as Director of Business Development focusing in corporate and entertainment, leisure, groups and incentive travel. Micki has been an active member of Los Angeles Business Travel Association, British American Business Council, Prost - Orange County.

Promoted to Vice President, Sales and Client Relations in August, 2007, she is responsible for business development and client travel management programs. She represents Corniche in many organizations including Executive Women's International, Los Angeles Business Travel Association, Women's Business Council of the Century City Chamber of Commerce and WBEC-West.
