CORNICHE Travel was born in 1987 as a boutique, dedicated travel management company. Within a short time, due to it’s exceptional service and standards, it grew beyond “boutique” yet maintained it’s service standards complimented by the industry’s most demanding technology. With controlled growth CORNICHE Group, Inc., was created to house CORNICHE Travel, and its sister companies, Anastasia’s Africa (2004), a private customized African safari company, and CORNICHE Entertainment (2006), a music management, production and promotion firm serving artists, venues and corporate events worldwide.

Anastasia Mann

Well known as a leader in travel and tourism management and marketing, Anastasia Mann is the founder, Chairman and CEO of renowned West Hollywood, California-based CORNICHE Group Inc., The original company, CORNICHE Travel, founded in 1987, is well recognized for providing exclusive travel management, tourism and hotel marketing consultation, and meeting and event planning services as well as entertainment production and personal management services. Over the years, Anastasia has worked with a wide range of high-profile clients and celebrated personalities in entertainment and politics. Her company has worked with the Los Angeles Dodgers for over 19 years and currently represents many prestigious and diversified corporations and organizations including Pepperdine University, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Herbalife and International Creative Management (ICM), to name a few.

In December 2004, Anastasia and CORNICHE Group successfully launched a new division called Anastasia’s Africa, specializing in private, customized trips throughout Africa but, particularly safaris to southern and eastern Africa. Her team works with Africa’s premier destinations, safari lodges, camps, operators and guides. With amazing and immediate success, Anastasia’s Africa now has offices in West Hollywood, Cape Town, and Nairobi and has been featured in The New York Times, New York Post, and the Los Angeles Times as well as InStyle, Marie Claire, and Luxury Travel Advisor magazines among others.

In 2006 CORNICHE Entertainment was born which provides music and entertainment for top venues and private events throughout the world, as well as concert production, and CD production / distribution. Renowned Latin Jazz Master Percussionist, singer, artist and orchestra leader, Louie Cruz Beltran, is the marquee artist for the division.

Anastasia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California where she studied creative writing and majored in English and Journalism. After a year teaching English in Mexico City, she returned to Los Angeles to work as a freelance writer. On the recommendation of a client, she was introduced to her tourism career and became the first female corporate sales manager for Hilton Hotels Corporation based in Los Angeles, followed by the Stanford Court in San Francisco, and then spent nearly ten years as Director of Sales & Marketing for the prestigious Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Anastasia moved from hotel marketing to become the first US President of Operations for British-based Mark Allan Travel – which became the entertainment division of American Express.
As a founding member of the California Travel and Tourism Commission, (now – Visit California) she served two terms as the sole representative of all travel management companies in the state. During both of her terms she sat on the Executive Committee. Anastasia served two terms on the Board of CalTIA (Now – CalTravel).

Her additional contributions to the travel and tourism industry include 10 years on the international board of directors of the Travel & Tourism Research Association (serving as President and Chair as well); past-president of Southern California chapter of HSMAI; founding member of MPI; board member of PATA Los Angeles; member of International PATA’s first Marketing Committee; founding chairman of the West Hollywood Visitors and Convention Bureau (Now – Visit West Hollywood); longstanding member of the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce; California representative to the White House Conference on Tourism (Clinton Administration); sole tourism representative on the Trade Mission to Soviet Union (GHW Bush administration); Hollywood Arts Council governor; Past President of SKAL International – Los Angeles, to name a few. She is also a member of Travel Industry of America (TIA)

Among her various honors, Anastasia is the namesake as well as first recipient of the Anastasia K. Mann Leadership Award presented annually by the Travel and Tourism Marketing Association (TTMA) established in 2002. In October 2005 the highly respected magazine, Luxury Travel Advisor, featured Anastasia and CORNICHE Group as the cover story and also included an in-depth article on Anastasia’s Africa. She was also named the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year for the state of California by the California Travel Industry. Also in 2006, Anastasia was honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as a Woman of Distinction and by the Westside / Century City Chamber as a Woman of Achievement respectively. In 2014 and 2015 Anastasia has been a semi-finalist in the Ernst and Young EY entrepreneur of the year awards program.

Anastasia is currently serving her third term as president of the Hollywood Hills West Neighborhood Council (HHWNC). She presides over a board of 23 representing thousands of residential and business stakeholders in the community. HHWNC is the largest Neighborhood Council in the greater Los Angeles area. She is also serving her third term as a Civilian Hearing Examiner for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Board of Rights.

Her personal travels throughout the world include 109 countries thus far. Her favorite destinations include southern and eastern Africa and, of course, Italy! Anastasia has had many speaking engagements over the years including industry conferences throughout the USA as well as internationally. She was twice a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Peace through Tourism first in Geneva, Switzerland and again presented in Lusaka, Zambia. She has done over 600 interviews on network television and major market radio stations, and is a frequent contributor to the New York Times, New York Post, LA Times, InStyle Magazine; EXTRA, Fine Living, etc.













Jonathan Cowley
Jonathan CowleyVice President - Sales & Client Services
Jonathan Cowley began his career with British Airways in 1989 spending a short time in the UK before moving overseas to manage a number of airport operations in South Africa, Indonesia & the People’s Republic of China.

In 1999 he returned to the UK to manage the British Airways Flight Connections team at London Heathrow and later moved into In-flight Services to manage Cabin Crew based at London Heathrow & Manchester.

In 2003 he moved to Los Angeles with British Airways, to start a commercial role managing corporate, agency & entertainment accounts in California & Arizona before moving back into the operation to manage the BA airport team at LAX in 2005.

In 2007 Jonathan changed direction by helping to start-up a brand new airline, Caribbean Airlines based in Toronto as their General Manager in Canada responsible for all commercial and operational functions.

In 2009 he returned to California to work with Worldview Travel as their Director of business development responsible for airline relationship management and contract negotiations.

In 2010 he returned to familiar ground by rejoining the British Airways commercial team in Los Angeles.

In March 2012 Jonathan joined the Air New Zealand commercial team in Los Angeles managing the airline’s North American corporate sales team.

In March 2015 Jonathan joined TravelStore in Los Angeles to head-up their Client Services team.

In May of 2016 Jonathan joined Corniche Travel in West Hollywood as our Vice President of Sales & Client Services. Jonathan also serves on the board of the British American Business Council, Los Angeles.

Chris Johnson
Chris JohnsonVice President - Operations
Chris Johnson joined CORNICHE Travel in June of 2007 and transitioned to Operations Manager in May of 2008, and in January of 2016, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations. His role as VP of Operations includes managing day-to-day operations, client and vendor relations, coordination with accounting, supervising reporting and employee scheduling while focusing on systems and procedures for the company.

Chris has been in the travel industry over 17 years. His travel career began in Dallas, TX while at CUC International, a membership-based travel services company. After relocating to Los Angeles he worked for Countrywide Financial Corporation as Manager of Travel Support overseeing their Business Travel Account, Corporate Card, Purchasing Card and Corporate Housing programs. He played an integral part in selecting preferred vendors and in their RFP process.

Chris represents CORNICHE as a board of directors member of Executive Women International (EWI), a professional organization representing women and men, bringing together key individuals from diverse businesses to promote member firms and enhance community involvement.

After having been recognized for providing world-class service to both customers and business partners, Chris strives to provide a positive and compassionate work environment.

Donna Lindsay
Donna LindsayVice President - International Groups and Incentives
For over thirty-five years, Donna Lindsay has been involved in the travel and tourism industry. Her career began in the airline sector where she held various positions with Continental and Western Airlines and TWA in Denver, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.
She was responsible for all facets of sales, marketing and group operations in the corporate and travel agency community.

Following 10 years with the airlines, she transitioned to the hotel side of the industry. As Sales Manager at the JW Marriott Hotel Century City, she was responsible for the entertainment community, movie filming, local travel agencies and the White House. She hosted President’s Ronald Reagan and George Bush, Vice President Quayle, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, the Royal Family of Qatar and the Neil Diamond tour to name a few.

After many successful years at the hotel, she transitioned to yet another sector of the tourism industry, and accepted a job with Hoffman Travel as Manager of Group Operations. In this position, she coordinated group logistics and travel for Motorola Corporation and their new product roll – outs and sales meetings, the America’s Cup, and Polygram, A&M Music new artist listening weekends. In 1993, she made her final move and joined the CORNICHE family as Vice President, Sales and Marketing where she teamed up with her former client and friend, Anastasia Kostoff – Mann.

Ms. Lindsay now resides on the east coast and continues to exclusively handle all group planning and operations for Pepperdine University’s Board of Regents and Associate programs as she has since 1994.
